My new floor! Yee-Haw! You do not know how long I have been waiting for a new floor. This is what started this whole
I know it's hard to tell, but imagine dirt in all the little divots that will not come out no matter what amount of cleaning product or elbow grease you use. Yuck!
Now here is my new floor ready for it's close-up!
Isn't it perty! It's made by Congoleum. And right now I cannot recall the color to save my life! (That's what age will do to you). As far as our cabinets are concerned, we were told by the contractor that they would be in last week. But they are supposed to be in this week. (I thought it was too good to be true to have the cabinets come in so soon). So hopefully in a couple of days I can give you another update.:-)

Your "before" floor looks exactly like the floor I have in the kitchen where I am writing this comment! I look forward to getting rid of it someday but am in the middle of my second bathroom remodel in less than a year so it will be a ways off. Enjoy your new kitchen and the process of each step!

ReplyDeleteOh, lucky! I also had flooring like that in my old townhouse. Even down on my hands and knees with a brush in hand I couldn't get the dirt out of the grooves. So annoying. I love the new color - you'll never see the dirt! :)
